Mercedes saga continues

After the diff came off i had to replace the seal as i have mentioned.

It is tight but it does not stop me :). So i just grabbed an old used brake disc off a vauxhall combo off my fleet. Drilled 2 holes as an extra.Got some A2 steel bolts and 2 pieces of metal bar off of a Hotpoint washing machine installation kit. With these and a huge torque wrench, i just got it off with a light jump on them. Use whatever you can find around as a tool. That’s what i learned at my granddad’s workshop. If you don’t have the right tool, make one!2016-08-17-09-39-48

There is nothing impossible, you just not trying hard enough 🙂

Mercedes in pieces

The diff is out finally, it was a real challenge with all the bolts and connectors. But the worst was to let it down due to lack of space. 🙂

Perks of doing it on my driveway. After i have removed everything the next step was to get the diff nut off as the front oil seal was leaking a bit. You would tink Mercedes-Benz equals quality. But sometimes that is just not true.Sadly , because i like MB. I have always trusted my wheels. I had so many differend brands under my ass that i can say i know a little bit about them.
