A good friend came over to have a bit of an investigation.The car was a bit lumpy. No wonder 🙂
Took a little while and a bit of KITCHEN degreaser, but it was worth the few hours spent on removing the complete air intake. Now it has better fuel economy and more power!
One of our author was in Los Angeles for 3 weeks.
The bush in the sub-frame was in a bit of a limbo. But no problem, with a made up tool consist of a WV aftermarket bush remover and few cuts of a metal pipe with 2 flat pieces with holes on them for positioning. For some silly reason i forgot to take pics after the replacement. One thing for sure these don’t last more than 7-8 years.When i got mine off e-bay  i had to browse through few but they were pretty much the same. 
The replacement itself took about a hour or two. IT was not difficult at all. I wonder how much a dealership or a garage would have charged me for this. I don’t want to think about the price of the whole lot i have done. Probably i would just curl on the floor and cry getting a quote 🙂
